We offer you the plastic pry tool and a DC 6V-12V-24V electro probe for your car as gifts. Please note that we do not accept any disputes regarding these gifts, as they are provided free of charge. You can install the car DVR by yourself by following these steps:
1. Refer to your car’s manual or search online to locate the fuse box. Use the plastic pry tool to open the box if necessary.
2. Utilize the electro probe to find the ACC power fuse and the Constant power (BATT +12V) fuse. We recommend using fuses for reading lamps, headlights, tail lamps, turn signals, or power windows to supply constant power (if they are indeed constant power fuses).
ACC power: This power source activates when you insert and turn your car key to the ACC position. It deactivates when you turn the key to Lock or remove it. Connect the red wire (ACC) to the ACC power fuse.
Constant power (BATT +12V): This power source remains uninterrupted regardless of whether your car key is plugged in or not. Connect the yellow wire (B+) to the Constant Power fuse.
3. For some cars, you may need to cut, refit, and reconnect the wires to the car fuses. Then, reinsert the fuse into its original location. Connect the GND wire (black) to a steel plate or screw.
