The SA220 is designed for dual video recording equipment, such as the JOOYFACT A17 Dual Dash Cam, featuring front resolution of 2560×1440 and rear resolution of 1920×1080@25 FPS, and supporting several ADAS functions.
●Front GC4653 image sensor, 123 degree viewing angle, F1.8 large aperture
The GC4653 is a high-performance CMOS image sensor featuring a Type 1/3 format and 4.0 Megapixels. The sensor incorporates a 2G4P+1IR lens, providing a viewing angle of 123 degrees. The dash cam, equipped with this sensor, captures good footage during both day and night, whether it’s vehicles, pedestrians, or road signs in front of you.
● GC2053 rear view camera
The rear-view camera utilizes a GC2053, a 2.0 Megapixel Type 1/2.9 CMOS image sensor, featuring an F2.0 aperture and a 2G3P+I IR lens with a 124-degree viewing angle. It excels in low-light night vision. The camera boasts an IP67 waterproof and dustproof design, ensuring stable operation in various harsh environments. It can be mounted on either the front or rear windshield, but is optimally positioned close to the reversing light for comprehensive capture and recording of the vehicle’s rear details, thereby enhancing driving safety.

● Aluminum alloy inside casing
In our eight-year history of manufacturing and selling dashcams, we have come to understand that heat dissipation is crucial for ensuring the stability and longevity of our products. In response to this critical issue, in October 2024, we introduced an aluminum alloy inside casing design, which significantly enhances the heat dissipation capacity of our dashcams. After rigorous testing and verification, we found that the newly designed dashcam can effectively reduce its operating temperature by approximately 8 degrees Celsius in an environment with a room temperature of 29 degrees, thereby ensuring that the device maintains excellent performance and stability even in high-temperature conditions. We will apply this aluminum alloy inside casing wherever feasible; however, a small number of models may not be able to use it due to differences in their casing designs.
● WIFI Connectivity and Mobile App Support (Android & iOS)
The dash cam is equipped with a built-in WIFI module, enabling wireless connection to smart devices such as mobile phones. Users can utilize the dedicated mobile app to easily view, download, and manage video files stored on the dash cam without consuming mobile network data. Furthermore, the app offers additional functionality, such as controlling the built-in microphone of the dash cam (on/off).
● Optional GPS Antenna for Enhanced Driving Data
The dash cam is compatible with an optional GPS antenna. When connected, it can record additional driving information, including speed, longitude, and latitude. Through the mobile app, users can replay videos and access detailed information about the vehicle’s route and speed, providing a comprehensive overview of the driving experience.
● OEM Style Installation
The dash cam features an OEM-style design, allowing for easy installation inside the vehicle without obstructing the driver’s view or compromising the vehicle’s overall aesthetics. It includes a dedicated power cable that taps into the rain sensor’s port for tandem shared power. This operation does not interfere with the normal functionality of the rain sensor.
● Loop Recording
The dash cam supports loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest video file when the memory card space is insufficient. This ensures that there is always enough space to record new videos, allowing the dash cam to continuously record the driving process without interruption.
● Built-in G-Sensor: Automatic Emergency Video Locking
The built-in G-Sensor is capable of detecting emergency conditions, such as collisions or sudden braking, and automatically saves the current video file to prevent data loss or overwriting. Additionally, emergency videos are locked to ensure they cannot be accidentally deleted or overwritten, preserving crucial evidence.
● Memory Card Compatibility
The dash cam supports U3 C10 TF cards with capacities ranging from a minimum of 16GB to a maximum of 256GB, ensuring ample storage space for recording the driving process. For optimal performance, it is recommended to format the memory card every 2 weeks to a month. This helps maintain the dash cam’s efficiency and ensures smooth recording without interruptions.
● 24-Hour Parking Monitoring
The dash cam offers a 24-hour parking monitoring function. When the vehicle is turned off and parked, if the dash cam detects any movement or collision, it will immediately activate the emergency recording function and save the video as evidence. This feature provides an additional layer of security and peace of mind for vehicle owners.
● Time-Lapse Recording
The time-lapse recording function allows the dash cam to continuously record at 1, 2, or 5 frames per second when the vehicle is parked. This reduces the occupation of storage space while ensuring the integrity of the recorded video. In the event of a hit-and-run or theft, the time-lapse recording provides crucial evidence to aid in investigations.
● Fuse box power cable without voltage protection
By tapping power through the fuse box, we can conceal the wires. This approach not only enhances aesthetics but also boosts security. Compared to relying on cigarette lighter adapters, this method is more stable and ensures that the dash cam remains in standby mode even after the vehicle is turned off, enabling the parking monitoring function. This is crucial for protecting against unexpected situations, such as vehicle theft or collisions. However, wiring through the fuse box can be relatively complex and requires a certain level of technical knowledge and patience, especially for users unfamiliar with electrical circuits. Please follow the installation instructions carefully to avoid the risk of spontaneous combustion.
● Dedicated power cable
The dedicated power cable for the car will not expose excess cables, keeping the car clean and beautiful. The installation of the dedicated power cable is usually easier, reducing the difficulty and time required for installation. It takes power through rain sensors, reading lights, or specific power ports and matches well with the vehicle’s power supply system to ensure stable power supply to the dash cam and reduce the possibility of faults. Although the dedicated power cable is usually rigorously tested, there are still certain circuit risks, such as line heating or short circuits, which may cause damage to the vehicle’s circuit system. Compared to the fuse box power cable, the defect rate of the dedicated power cable is slightly higher.
